Golden Bear golf competes at two-day Patriot Invitational

LONDON, Ky. -- WVU Tech golf competed at the two-day, three-round Patriot Invitational hosted by University of the Cumberlands Monday-Tuesday.

WVU Tech 8th (+101) | Lindsey Wilson 1st (+17) | Campbellsville 2nd (+35)

The Oaks | London, Ky.

TOP GOLDEN BEAR
Alvaro Iglesias | T13th (227, +11)

NOTES

Tech finished 8th out of nine teams.
Iglesias was Tech's top finisher, followed by Bryson Beaver (15th, 228, +12).
Ignacio Codina Martinez was 28th after a 235 (+19).
Robert Akerman (251), Lee Kimathi (260) and Manuel Furmento (267) rounded out the Golden Bear participants.

UP NEXT
The Gold and Blue will travel to Lexington, Ky. for a two-day tournament hosted by Midway University April 7-8.
