Golden Bear softball picks up victory over Kentucky Christian

BECKLEY, W.Va. -- WVU Tech softball defeated Kentucky Christian University 8-5 after falling 1-18 in a non-conference doubleheader Tuesday.

NOTES

Sydney Sheets tallied three RBI and a run scored off of two hits including a homerun.
Brenna Reedy drove in two runs and and crossed the plate once on one hit.
Olivia Barnett, Kaylee Waddell and Macy Wilkens marked a RBI each.
Hailea Skeens, Mia Valenzuela and Tori Wells had a multi-hit day with two each.
Trinity Wilson knocked Tech's lone double of the series.
In the circle Ashleigh James earned the W and struck out two batters.
Susan Gray recorded one strike out after 5.0 innings of work from the rubber.
