Thomas Huddleston

Thomas Huddleston joins the WVU Tech baseball program for his first year as a collegiate coach.

Thomas is a 2011 graduate of Summertown High School in Summertown, Tennessee and was a member of 2009 State Championship team.

Prior to beginning his term with the Golden Bears, Huddleston was affiliated with the Roswell Invaders of the Pecos League based in Houston, Texas. 

Huddleston graduated from Bluefield College in 2016 with a BS in Exercise and Sports Science. At Bluefield, Huddleston finished with a 4.31 ERA, throwing 4 complete games in 12 starts with 80 strikeouts and only 15 walks in 77 innings pitched. 

His college career began at Cleveland State Community College in Cleveland, Tennessee where he earned Pitcher of the Week honors as well as receiving TCCAA Scholar-Athlete honors for 2012 and 2013. 

During the summer of 2013, Thomas was a starting pitcher for the Fulton Railroaders Baseball Club of the Ohio Valley League. The Fulton Railroaders were OVL Champions that year. 

Huddleston spent two years at Martin Methodist College pursuing a degree in Sports Management prior to transferring to Bluefield College. 

Thomas has been a three-time attendee at Ron Wolforth’s Elite Pitchers Boot Camp, as well as working as a ranch hand at the Texas Baseball Ranch. He also spent time training at the Pitching ARMory in Tampa, Florida with Randy Sullivan.
