Hewitt-Fisher is entering his sixth season as the Head Coach of the Golden Bears men's soccer program. Under his tutelage, the men’s soccer team has amassed a record of 67-17-11 (.763) including River States Conference regular season champions in 2019, 2020 & 2022.

- 2019 RSC Defensive Player of the Year, Allan Costa.
- 2022 RSC Defensive Player of the Year, Enrique Ezquerro Lopez
During his playing career, Hewitt-Fisher was a vital part of the University of Rio Grande Men’s Soccer team, playing in 81 games from 2009-2012, scoring 35 goals and recording 34 assists on his way to receiving numerous MSC All-Conference accolades, as well as being named to the 2012 NAIA All-American First Team. The Redstorm advanced to four consecutive NAIA National Tournaments with Hewitt-Fisher on the team, reaching the Final Four in 2009, Elite Eight in 2011, and Round of 16 in 2010 & 2012.
Prior to coming to the States, Hewitt-Fisher was an academy and reserve player at Swansea City AFC. He also represented Wales at the U-17 and U-19 levels, playing alongside Gareth Bale, Aaron Ramsey, and Joe Allen. His playing career also included five years with the New Orleans Jesters (PDL) and one season with the Myrtle Beach Mutiny (NPSL).
Upon the conclusion of his playing career, Hewitt-Fisher joined the coaching staff at his alma mater as a graduate assistant where he helped the team to a further two NAIA National Tournament berths. He then spent the fall of 2016 as a volunteer assistant at Marshall University, before joining the Golden Bear coaching staff as an assistant coach in 2017. Hewitt-Fisher is also highly involved with youth soccer in West Virginia, as a coach at Legacy FC and West Virginia ODP.
Oliver currently resides in Beckley, WV, with his wife, Stevie, and their children, Theo and Eden. He holds a bachelor's degree in Biology, a master's degree in Athletic Coaching & Leadership, and the USSF D license.
