Kylie Meadows joined the WVU Tech women’s basketball staff as an assistant coach ahead of the 2026-27 season, bringing collegiate, professional and high school coaching experience to the Golden Bears.
Meadows most recently served as the head girls’ basketball coach at Shady Spring High School in West Virginia, where she helped the program double its win total from the previous two seasons.
Before beginning her coaching career, Meadows played professionally in Puerto Rico, Portugal and Cyprus. She competed for Montañeras de Morovis in Puerto Rico before participating in a EuroBasket tour in Portugal. Meadows later signed with the Moufflons of Nicosia in Cyprus, where she averaged 18.6 points, 14.4 rebounds, 1.7 steals and one block per game.
Her season with the Moufflons included five Cypriot Division A Player of the Week honors as she helped the team reach the playoffs and finish third in the league. Meadows was named Newcomer of the Year and earned Cyprus First Team and All-Import First Team honors.
Following another EuroBasket tour in Portugal, where she averaged 14.6 points and seven rebounds per game, Meadows returned to Cyprus and signed with ENAD of Nicosia before a knee injury ended her season.
Meadows began her collegiate career at Oregon Institute of Technology, helping the Owls reach the NAIA National Championship Sweet 16 during her freshman season. She moved into the starting lineup as a sophomore as Oregon Tech finished 19-12 before transferring to Bluefield University to complete her collegiate career.
At Bluefield, Meadows became one of the most productive players in program history. She averaged 13.1 points and 6.8 rebounds per game during her first season with the Rams before increasing those numbers to 18.9 points and 8.6 rebounds the following year. In her fifth and final collegiate season, Meadows averaged 17.2 points and 8.6 rebounds while recording 11 double-doubles and helping Bluefield advance to the second round of its conference tournament.
Meadows scored 1,324 points during her career at Bluefield, finishing as the second-leading scorer in program history at the time. She earned team MVP honors three times, was a two-time first-team all-conference selection and twice earned second-team Virginia Sports Information Directors All-State recognition. She was also a two-time team captain, two-time Offensive Player of the Year and the recipient of Bluefield University’s 2023 Individual Performance of the Year award.
She finished her collegiate career with more than 1,500 points and was a four-time NAIA Scholar-Athlete and Dean’s List student.
A native of Mountain Home, Idaho, Meadows graduated from Mountain Home High School in 2018 following a decorated prep career. She averaged 15.7 points and eight rebounds per game as a junior before posting 17 points and 6.7 rebounds per game while shooting 51% from the field as a senior.
Meadows became the first player in Mountain Home history at the time to surpass 1,000 career points. She was a two-time first-team all-conference selection, two-time second-team all-state honoree, two-time team MVP and two-time team captain. Meadows was named the 2018 Southern Idaho Conference Player of the Year and participated in the Idaho All-State Game and its 3-point competition.
Meadows earned a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice and a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in justice administration from Bluefield University. She resides in Grandview, West Virginia.
