Senior Marc-Richard Culmer has been named the Golden Bear Star Performer for April 23-30.
Culmer hit for the cycle in his final collegiate game in the Golden Bear 13-12 loss to NCAA DII opponent Alderson-Broaddus Sunday, April 27.
In the past week, WVU Tech went 2-4, and the senior was 9-for-14 at the plate for the four-game weekend series against AB, marking four RBI and scoring three runs while hitting three doubles, a triple and a home run. Culmer also stole his 19th base of the season and 38th of his career as a Golden Bear.
Culmer finished in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) tied for third in stolen bases with 19. The Nassau, Bahamas native is graduating with a degree in Sports Management at WVU Tech.
