Sophomore Hannah Atkins has been named a Golden Bear Star Performer for Sept. 16-22.

Atkins earned two new career-highs with eight kills and two assists during Tech's match-up vs. the University of Charleston-Beckley.

The sophomore has totaled 32 kills this season, which is already more than Atkins' finished with in 2013.

The Charleston, West Virginia native is the daughter of Ron and Becky Haynes and studies civil engineering as a Golden Bear.
