Golden Bear Athletes of the Week for March 1-8, 2021 were announced Sunday by the WVU Tech Athletic Department. Freshman Stefanie Meacham and senior Steven Smith of indoor track and field highlight that week's honors.

Meacham competed in the 3,000m Race Walk during the NAIA National Championship March 5, gaining All-American honors.

The Gorham, Maine native finished sixth overall with a time of 15:46.67. Meacham is the second Golden Bear to receive All-American honors in the Race Walk, following in the steps of alum Nikki Aleshire (2017 NAIA National Outdoor Championship).
