Golden Bear Athletes of the Week for November 15-21, 2021 were announced Thursday by the WVU Tech Athletic Department. Freshmen Chanz Pough (wrestling) and Donat Fabian (men's swimming) highlight that week's honors.

Pough led the Golden Bears during the Life Open, garnering a fifth place showing at 125 lbs. The Frederick, Maryland native defeated Cameron Greene (UNC Pembroke) with a technical fall (21-4) and won by decision (10-8) over Lucas Chess (Rio Grande).

At the Magnus Cup, Fabian posted a new WVU Tech record in the 50 Free (20.48) where he finished second overall in a field of 30 swimmers. He also picked up top ten finishes in the 50 Breast (6th), 100 Breast (6th) and 100 IM (2nd). The Budapest, Hungary native made the National 'A' Cut  in the 50 Free, punching his ticket to the NAIA National Championship.
