Golden Bear Athletes of the Week for Oct. 16-22, 2023 were announced Tuesday by the WVU Tech Athletic Department. Senior Carmen Camino Falcon (women's cross country) and freshman Ramon Ferrari (men's soccer) highlight the week's honors.

Camino Falcon (Puerto del Rosario, Spain) clocked a 20:58 in the 5k to lead the Golden Bears and all 19 runners during the Patty Forgey Invitational hosted by University of Rio Grande Friday, October 20.

Ferrari (Nova Venécia, Espírito Santo, Brazil) recorded two shutout victories the week of Oct. 16-22, making four stops in 180 minutes of play as the Golden Bears defeated Shawnee State and Point Park 3-0 each.
