Golden Bear Athletes of the Week for December 18-24, 2023 were announced Thursday by the WVU Tech Athletic Department. Sophomore Alva Hedrich (women's basketball) and junior Darrin Martin (men's basketball) highlight the week's honors.

Hedrich (mathematics) led the Golden Bears to a 70-62 W over Weber International with a double-double effort of 18 points and 13 rebounds. Hedrich also added three assists, two blocks and an assist.
