Golden Bear Athletes of the Week for January 1-7, 2024 were announced Thursday by the WVU Tech Athletic Department. Senior Ashton Parker (men's basketball) and sophomore Alva Hedrich (women's basketball) highlight the week's honors.

Hedrich (mathematics) led the Golden Bears in many categories, tallying 29 points, 29 rebounds, 14 assists and six blocks over two games for the Golden Bears.
