Golden Bear Athletes of the Week for January 29 - February 4, 2024 were announced Monday by the WVU Tech Athletic Department. Juniors Jeffrey Bowles (wrestling) and Robert Kelley (baseball) highlight the week's honors.

Bowles, who hails from Beckley, W.Va., finished 3-2 at 197 lbs. during the Cumberland Open. He first recorded a W versus Alexander Tembus with a technical fall 24-8. The second victory was over Will Lipsitz with a fall at 2:43. Evans then added another technical fall, 19-3, against Zach Watson this time.
