Golden Bear Athletes of the Week for January 27 - February 2, 2025 were announced Monday by the WVU Tech Athletic Department. Sophomores Cadence Stewart (women's basketball) and Corbyn Cunningham (wrestling) highlight the week's honors.

Stewart, a native of Ronceverte, W.Va., posted 31 points including four made three's over three games. The sophomore also had 12 rebounds, four assists and two steals for the Golden Bears.

Cunningham, who hails from Hamersville, Ohio, had a podium showing during the Cumberland Open, finishing third at 141 lbs. after recording two falls and going 4-1 in bouts.
