Golden Bear Athletes of the Week for April 14-20, 2025 were announced Monday by the WVU Tech Athletic Department. Senior Emily Hutchinson (softball) and junior Bryson Beaver (golf) highlight the week's honors.

Hutchinson, who hails from Huntington, W.Va., totaled six hits towards four RBI. The senior knocked two doubles, scored three runs and recorded three stolen bases in seven games for the Gold and Blue.

Beaver, an Elkview, W.Va. native, finished first out of 41 golfers during the Harry Weinbrecht Invitational. The junior shot a 71 (-1) and helped lead the Golden Bears to a team victory at the Elks Country Club.
