The WVU Tech Athletic Department has announced its Golden Bear Athletes of the Week for Dec. 22–28, 2025. This week’s honors go to junior forward Jackson Tackett and junior guard Brandon Moore of men’s basketball, following their performances in WVU Tech’s lone contest of the week.

Brandon Moore (Lima, Ohio)

Moore delivered a well-rounded performance in the lone game of the week, totaling nine points, five rebounds, three assists and a steal. He went 5-of-7 from the free-throw line, consistently attacking the basket and drawing contact.

His all-around contributions and physical play helped steady the Golden Bears in a challenging road environment.
