Sophomore Austin Southcott has been named a Golden Bear Star Performer of the Week for April 8-14, 2015 for his efforts on the mound.

Southcott has an undefeated record, 5-0 after 5.0 innings of work against No. 5 (NAIA DI) Georgia Gwinnett College for the 7-4 win Saturday afternoon.

The sophomore struck out nine Grizzlies while scattering eight hits and three earned runs. Southcott has pitched the most innings for Tech, 53.1, holding an ERA of 3.71 while leading the team with 56 strike outs (9.45 strike outs per game).
