Freshman Madeline Gilson has been named a Golden Bear Star Performer of the Week for October 21-28, 2015.

Gilson earned a new career-high in Tech's 3-2 win over Emory & Henry College with 28 digs Tuesday evening. The Ona, West Virginia native finished with a game-high 15 digs while marking an assist in the 3-0 loss against Davis & Elkins College.

The daughter of Walt and Mary Gilson is majoring in nursing as a Golden Bear.
