Junior Paul Stone has been named a Golden Bear Star Performer of the Week for December 23, 2015 — January 5, 2016.

Stone led all scorers Tech's loss to NCAA DII Davis & Elkins College with 37 points. The Danville, Virginia native produced a double-double by recording a new career-high in points and pulling down 12 rebounds.

The son of Jeaniqua Jackson has scored at least 15 points in Tech's last five contests while posting double figures in all but one game this season.

Stone is majoring in sport management at WVU Tech.
