Freshman Skylar Connelly has been named a Golden Bear Star Performer of the Week for February 24 - March 1, 2016.

Connelly went 10-for-22 at the plate, including two doubles, this past week and WVU Tech softball finished 4-2 in South Carolina. Connelly drove in two RBI while scoring four runs herself. At shortstop, the Ottawa, Illinois native had seven putouts and three assists while committing just one error in the field.

The daughter of Erik and Jodie Connelly is majoring in chemical engineering as a Golden Bear.
