Joe Menello shook off shooting a 78 in his first round at the Shawnee State Invitational to shoot the lowest score of the field in round two (70) to earn a fifth place finish. Joe’s 148 score completed his tournament at 4 over par and tied teammate Gerardo Flores for the highest individual finish for the Golden Bears at the tournament.

The award is Joseph’s first of the season.
