Ignacio led the team of sophomore Felipe Ruiz and seniors Geoffroy Gauneau and Jesus Ballesteros to first place in the 400 Free Relay. The team of Ignacio, Ruiz, freshman Marcos de Paula Damaso and sophomore Manuel Laguna Gomez touched second in the 800 Free Relay while the team of Ignacio, Gauneau, Ballesteros and junior Dan Kelly finished first in the 200 Free Relay and second during the 400 Medley Relay.

Individually the Santos, SP - Brazil native took first in the 100 and 200 Breast and second during the 50 Free. Ignacio earned All-AAC accolades for his efforts during all events while setting a new conference record in the 100 Breast (56.19) and 400 Free Relay (3:09.68).
