After his first indoor meet of the season, Smith has already punched his ticket to the NAIA National Championship to compete in the 3,000m Race Walk.

The South Portland, Maine native posted a first place finish during the USATF Southeast Region Masters Championship, clocking a time (13:33.44) above the 'A' qualifying standard time.
