During the Golden Bear Classic held September 19, Falcon crossed first overall with a time of 12:21.5 (3k).

The native of Spain followed that up with an overall fourth place finish at the Rio Grande Classic, crossing first for the Golden Bears with a time of 20:54.2 during the 5k.
