Freshman Rodrigo Manzanares has been named the student-athlete of the week for October 24 through 30.

Manzanares has been scoring force the men’s soccer team this season.  In this past week’s action, he led the Golden Bears to two victories increasing the team’s overall record to 15-1-1.  In the match versus Southern State Community College on October 21, Manzanares broke and add to the all-time record for goals scored in single season.  He currently stands at 17 goals for the season.  The forward has tallied seven assists and has made 64 shot attempts.

Manzanares is a mechanical engineering major from Cordoba, Argentina.
