Senior Courtney Sturdivant has been named the student-athlete of the week for November 14 through 20.
  
Sturdivant has led the Golden Bears this season as an offensive force.  The 5’5” guard is averaging 17.8 points and 6.2 rebounds a game while shooting 48.5% from the field and 42.1% from behind the arch. 

During this past weekend’s Bevo Francis Tournament hosted by the University of Rio Grande, Sturdivant recorded 46 points, 5 assists, and 9 rebounds in route to being named the tournament MVP.  Currently at 4-1, her individual efforts have helped the Golden Bears get off to the program’s best start in recent years.
 
Sturdivant is an athletic coaching education major from New Haven, Connecticut.
