Eddie, Hayden (Weirton, WV) earns his second Student-Athlete of the week honors for his role in the Golden Bear men’s basketball team’s victories over the #16 and #12 ranked teams in the nation.  

Hayden recorded his fourth double-double of the season last Thursday against #16 Lindsey Wilson College.  He scored 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in the 87-78 victory and also added 3 blocks and 2 assists to complete his stat line.

On Saturday Eddie was again effective in all aspects of Tech’s 79-75 upset of #12 the University of the Cumberlands.  In the victory, Hayden turned in a steady 18 points, 2 blocks, 1 steal, and 1 assist performance to help propel the Golden Bears to their 10th victory of the season.
