Senior Tracee Mitchel has been named the Golden Bear Star Performer for January 21-28.

In the win over Virginia-Lynchburg (85-49) on January 15, the senior recorded eight points and tied a game-high with four steals to go with the same amount of rebounds.

Mitchel came off the bench to record a double-double with 11 points while tying a career-high of 10 rebounds (vs. WVU-Parkersburg-11/19/13) against Davis & Elkins College January 20.

Mitchel stopped the Senators from scoring with two blocks tying another carrer-high (at Point Park-10/26/13).

The Merrilllville, In. native is majoring in sports managment.
