EMORY, Virginia - WVU Tech volleyball was defeated by Emory & Henry College Tuesday night, 3-0. The Golden Bears now hold a record of 2-15 while the Wasps improved to 9-8 this season.
The Golden Bears combined for 24 kills during the match while Emory & Henry tallied 49 in their win over Tech, 25-18, 25-14 and 25-18.
Senior
Haley Pauley and junior
Jacque Carroll were the team leaders in kills with eight each. Pauley also led Tech with six digs to go with an ace while Carroll marked four digs, a block and an ace.
Redshirt freshman
Michala Dean ended the match with 20 assists, two digs, a block and a kill.
Tech continues play Wednesday, October 1 when they travel to West Virginia University at Parkersburg for a 7:00 p.m. match-up.
