CHARLESTON, West Virginia — The WVU Tech men's soccer team captured a 4-0 victory over Washington Adventist University Monday afternoon at the Trace Fork Soccer Complex in Charleston, West Virginia. The Golden Bears have continued their streak and are now 11-0 while the Shock fall to 2-6-2.
Sophomore
Francisco Neto recorded his 14
th goal in 2015 off a penalty kick early in the game (9') for the Gold and Blue. The Rio de Janeiro, Brazil native currently holds four top-ten rankings in the NAIA DI including number seven in goals per game (1.3) and points per game (2.9), number eight in total goals (14) and number nine in total points (29).
Sophomore
Jose Segarra netted two goals for Tech, off the assists of senior
Sam Laughton (19') and freshman
Álvaro Adán (78'). Junior
Drew Lytton connected with Laughton in the 25
th minute to mark the assist while Laughton netted his second goal this season.
Tech outshot their opponent 19-6 while also holding the advantage in corner kicks 6-4.

Hunter Moles had two stops in 45 minutes of play.
The Golden Bears will host Brescia University in Beckley, West Virginia on Thursday, October 15 for Senior Day. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
