TOLEDO, Ohio — The WVU Tech men's basketball team competed in an exhibition contest Saturday afternoon, losing to the University of Toledo, a NCAA DI institution, 96-65 at the Savage Arena.
A duo of Golden Bears led the way for Tech in junior
Paul Stone and sophomore
Ryan Atkins. Stone went a perfect 3-for-3 from the foul line on his way to 20 points while pulling down seven rebounds. Atkins finished with a double-double effort of 17 points and a game-high 11 rebounds.
As a team the Gold and Blue shot 35.9 percent (23-for-64) from the field while forcing 11 Rocket turnovers on defense.
Tech continues it's season when they host Point Park University in the Baisi Athletic Center, Wednesday, November 18.
