MONTGOMERY, West Virginia — The WVU Tech women's swimming team hosted a dual meet Saturday afternoon at the WVU Tech Pool, falling to West Virginia Wesleyan, 119-81.

Top finishes for the Golden Bears include:

• First place finish by sophomore Kendra Monnin in the 1000 Freestyle (11:19.32) and 100 Freestyle (55.73).
• First place finish in the 400 IM by freshman Isabela Kiesewetter Zandaval (5:05.50) and 100 Backstroke (1:02.80)
• First place finish by junior Francine Meyer in the 100 Butterfly (1:00.79).
• First place finish in the 500 Freestyle by freshman Mariana Loureiro (5:44.53).

The squad will return to the pool when they host Alderson Broaddus University in the Baisi Athletic Center, November 21.
