BLUEFIELD, Virginia — The WVU Tech women's basketball team dropped a road game to Bluefield College (Virginia) 65-53 Monday evening in Bluefield, Virginia. The Golden Bears are now 2-3 this season while the Rams improve to 3-2.

Courtney Fisher scored 17 points while pulling down eight rebounds to lead Tech. Freshman

LaKisha Adkins were the other Golden Bears in double-digits scoring 14 and ten points respectively. Adkins was 5-for-6 from the foul line and posted six boards.
Tech was held to just 26.2 percent (17-for-65) shooting from the field while holding their opponent to 35.6 percent (21-for-59) shooting. The team shot 68.2 percent (15-for-22) from the free throw line.
The Gold and Blue will play host to Point Park University Wednesday in the Baisi Athletic Center. Action is scheduled for 6 p.m.
