CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — The WVU Tech volleyball team dropped a hard-fought, five-set match to Ohio Christian University Thursday evening in Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (KIAC) play.
The Golden Bears have a record of 3-25, 0-12 (KIAC) in 2015 while the Trailblazers are 12-19, 7-8 (KIAC) after the 3-2 decision (26-24, 19-25, 23-25, 25-22, 11-15).
For the match, senior
Jacque Carroll had a game-high 18 kills while marking the game-high in blocks as well with 3.5. Fellow classmate
Jaymee Hannan posted the game-high in assists with 25 while also serving three aces. Freshman
Madeline Gilson posted 38 digs for a new career-high.
Freshman
Ana Monteiro had 13 assists and 12 digs while freshman
Brandi Cisco also earned a career-high by digging up 14 balls.
Tech returns to action Tuesday, November 10 when they travel to Cincinnati, Ohio for a tri-match against host school Cincinnati Christian University and Alice Lloyd College (Kentucky).
