SOUTH CHARLESTON, West Virginia — WVU Tech women's soccer will be the school's first team to host a Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (KIAC) Tournament contest when they face Cincinnati Christian University in a quarterfinal match-up Saturday afternoon. Tech enters the game as the No. 4 seed after a 12-5, 5-3 (KIAC) showing in 2015 while the Eagles are the No. 5 seed with a record of 5-11, 3-5 (KIAC).
RECORDS- The Golden Bears finished the season with the most wins in program history since at least 2007 with 12 including five conference wins.
- The Eagles finished with three KIAC wins, falling to Tech in the regular season, 2-0 (October 17).
GOLDEN BEAR NOTES- The matchups have been historically close against the Eagles, with Tech leading the all-time series (since 2007) 3-0-1.
- Three of the contests were shutouts for the Golden Bears | 1-0 (2012), 2-0 (2013) and 2-0 (2015).
- Senior Jessica Guzman and sophomore Tristen Kilman netted goals against the Eagles in the victory at home this season.
- The team has improved in goals allowed by a substantial margin as they allowed 29 through 16 games in 2014.
- Tech has allowed just 18 goals through 17 contests this season.
- The Golden Bears have four top-30 rankings in the NAIA:

- Senior Sydney Schaeffer and sophomore Martha Reyna have combined for 56 saves in goal this season. The two have combined for eight clean sheets.
