GEORGETOWN, Kentucky — WVU Tech men's basketball fell to Georgetown College (Kentucky) Saturday night, 85-64.
A trio of Golden Bears led the way for Tech in sophomore
Ryan Atkins and juniors
Paul Stone and
Matthew Kallead. Atkins went 9-for-22 from the field on his way to 19 points and pulling down eight boards. Stone finished with 16 points while grabbing a team-high nine rebounds. Kallead rounded out the double-digit scorers with 15 points and three rebounds.
As a team, Tech shot 38.8 percent (26-for-67) from the field while forcing ten Tiger turnovers on defense.
Tech will continue its season tomorrow, Sunday when they travel to Shawnee State University for a 4 p.m. tip off.
