TAKOMA PARK, Maryland — The WVU Tech men's basketball team ran its winning streak to five games as they won 76-70 over Washington Adventist University in non-conference play Saturday evening at The Pitt in Takoma Park, Maryland.
The Golden Bears (7-3), ranked No. 22 in the NAIA DII Coaches' Poll Tuesday, were led by sophomore
Ryan Atkins who came off the bench to produce 17 points. Atkins had a career-high 13 rebounds for his first double-double effort as a Golden Bear.

Eddie Gordon posted 13 points including a perfect 7-for-7 performance from the free throw line to go with five rebounds.

Ra'Shaud Kincaid had ten points each. Kallead marked a career- and game-high four steals while pulling down four boards. Kincaid grabbed five rebounds and dished a game-high four assists.

Patrick Gnagbo continued to work on his top-25 rankings in the NAIA DII, No. 19 in offensive rebounds per game (3.556), No. 20 in rebounds per game (9.444) and No. 22 in total rebounds (94), by pulling down nine rebounds while marking six points.
Tech held the Shock to 33.3 percent (23-for-72) shooting from the field while shooting 35.3 percent (24-for-63) themselves. The Golden Bears led for 37 minutes of the game, holding advantages in rebounds (50-48), points off turnovers (12-10) and bench points (31-20).
The Gold and Blue will head to (RV) Indiana University East for the KIAC Game of the Week Tuesday, December 8 for an 8 p.m. tipoff. The game will mark Tech's second conference contest this season. They are 1-0 in the KIAC after defeating Point Park University 71-69 in November.
