PORTSMOUTH, Ohio - The Golden Bears finished with 16 hits and sophomore Jayson Sykora earned the win on the mound as WVU Tech baseball defeated Shawnee State University Wednesday afternoon, 10-6. Tech boost their record to 13-13 while the Bears fall to 8-15.

Nine Tech players finished with a hit including junior Tommy Weaver hitting 3-for-5 at the plate and junior Hugo Rodriguez tallying two hits with a double, two runs, two RBI and an RBI.

Sykora struck out six Bears while scattering five hits and three earned runs.
