CLERMONT, Florida - WVU Tech softball finished the PFX Games in Clermont, Florida with two wins, including Tuesday's 7-3 victory over Carleton College and an 11-3 decision over Thomas College Friday afternoon. The Golden Bears competed in eight total games this past week and now have a record of 6-14 this season.
The Golden Bears finished with 10 and 15 hits in the match-ups against Carleton and Thomas respectively. The team also combined for six doubles, 13 RBI and 18 runs in the victories.
Freshman
Stephanie Seewer combined for eight hits, five doubles and three RBI going 8-for-9 at the plate for Tech in the wins.

Lexi Huck finished a perfect 2-for-2 at the plate for Tech Tuesday, recording two runs, two RBI and a double. Seewer also finished perfect at the plate, 4-for-4 with three doubles, two RBI and a run scored.

Kyla Shull (1-2) drew the start, scattering eight hits and three earned runs while striking out two batters for the complete game and her first collegiate win.

Megan Blythe and Harless produced two hits each.
Lively produced three RBI and two runs while Blythe crossed the plate twice and Harless once for the Gold and Blue.
Junior
Genna Trippett (1-3) earned her first collegiate win, pitching a complete game while striking out three batters and giving up one hit and no earned runs.
During Tech's time in Clermont, Florida at the PFX Games, they competed in six other contests, falling to Indiana Tech (3-0 and 3-1), William Woods University (7-4) and the University of Northwestern (6-1, 4-1 and 21-4).
Tech will return to action April 1 when they travel to the University of Pikeville for doubleheader action, first pitch is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
