WEST LIBERTY, West Virginia - The WVU Tech softball team lost a pair of games to NCAA DII foe West Liberty University Tuesday afternoon, 3-2 and 6-1. The Golden Bears now hold a record of 7-17 in 2015 while the Hilltoppers improve to 14-24.

Mackenzie Wilson (5-6) pitched a complete game for the loss, striking out three Hilltoppers while scattering three hits and three earned runs.

Baylee Harless and Peyton Fetty had a hit each for Tech in Tuesday's nightcap. Fetty was 1-for-2 at the plate with an RBI.
Freshman
Samantha Sirles (0-6) drew the start pitching in game two, putting in 5.2 innings of work, giving up eight hits and four earned runs in the loss.
The Gold and Blue will next travel to Ohio Christian University for doubleheader action, April 18.
