GLENVILLE, West Virginia - WVU Tech softball earned a split against NCAA DII foe Glenville State College Thursday afternoon in doubleheader action, falling in game one 7-1 before winning 11-2 in the final contest. The Golden Bears move to 11-21 this season while the Pioneers are now 9-31.

Sophomore
Mackenzie Wilson (6-8) drew the start for Tech in the circle, pitching 4.1 innings for the loss while scattering four hits and striking out six Pioneers. Freshman
Kyla Shull put in 1.2 innings of work for two strike outs and one hit.
Game Two | WVU Tech 11, Glenville State 2 (Box Score)Trippett finished a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate for the Gold and Blue, producing two RBI and a double. The junior also pitched a complete game for the win moving her record in the circle to 3-4 while striking out two batters.
Tech also saw two home runs in the nightcap victory, one each from Waugh and Blythe. Waugh had three hits, three runs scored and a RBI while Blythe ended the game 2-for-2 with two RBI and runs scored.

Tech will next host Bluefield State College Friday afternoon for a doubleheader, first pitch scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Senior
