MONTGOMERY, West Virginia - The WVU Tech baseball team split a doubleheader versus Shawnee State University, falling in game one, 6-5 before winning 7-0 in game two at Douglas M. Epling Field Thursday afternoon. The Golden Bears boost their record to 21-16 while the Bears have a record of 14-19 this season.

Cesar Chavez (1-1) pitched 1.0 inning for the loss, scattering two hits and one run.
Game Two | WVU Tech 7, Shawnee State 0Tech registered six hits from five Golden Bears, including two from junior
Dylan Harvey who finished 2-for-2 at the plate with two runs, two RBI and two stolen bases.

Tommy Weaver (1-0) earned the win on 6.0 innings of work, striking out two Bears while giving up two hits in the shutout.
WVU Tech will travel to Lawrenceville, Georgia this weekend to face Georgia Gwinnett College in a three-game series April 11-12.
