RIO GRANDE, Ohio -- The WVU Tech volleyball team dropped a River State Conference (RSC) match to the University of Rio Grande Tuesday evening, 3-0. The set scores were 25-15, 25-18 and 25-11. The Golden Bears now hold a record of 12-11, 1-4 (RSC) while the RedStorm are 10-10, 1-3 (RSC).

Junior Bailey Lotozo (10), sophomore Ana Monteiro (6) and freshman Carolina Bologna (4) led Tech on the attack while freshman Konstantina Pateli posted a team-high 20 assists.

On defense, freshman Roytihala Brown posted 12 digs to lead the Golden Bears. Senior Michala Dean dug up nine balls while Lotozo had seven digs.

Pateli, Lotozo and senior Keyonna Morrow had a service ace each.

The team will look to stop their two-match skid tomorrow, Wednesday when they host Penn State Fayette in the Baisi Athletic Center. The first serve is scheduled for 6 p.m.
