CHARLESTON, West Virginia -- For the first time this season, WVU Tech women's swimming took the victory in a dual Saturday against Alderson Broaddus, 111-65.
Highlights for the women include sophomore
Isabela Kiesewetter Zandavalli first place finishes in the 100 Backstroke (1:03.07) and 1000 Freestyle (11:44.81) while fellow classmate
Mariana Loureiro was first in the 500 Free (5:52.21) and the 200 Freestyle (2:05.06).
Senior
Francine Meyer achieved first with a time of 1:01.45 in the 100 Butterfly while also touching first in the 50 Free with a time of 25.37. Sophomore
Kendra Monnin swam to top finishes in the 200 IM, touching at 2:18.32 and the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:15.51.
The 400 Medley Relay team of Zandavalli, Loureiro, Meyer and Monnin finished first by clocking a time of 4:16.56.
The Golden Bears will next to Cleveland, Ohio for the Magnus Cup on Friday, November 18.
