BECKLEY, West Virginia — The No. 2 seed, WVU Tech, will host No. 3 Midway University in a semifinal of the River States Conference (RSC) Men's Soccer Tournament Wednesday, November 9 at the YMCA Paul Cline Memorial Sports Complex in Beckley, West Virginia. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Tech will be giving away window clings featuring the new Golden Bear logo to the first 100 fans in attendance that evening.
The Gold and Blue enter the game with a 2016 showing of 15-1-2, 7-0-1 (RSC) while the Eagles hold a record of 10-7-1, 6-2 (RSC). Tech received a bye in the first round while Midway advanced to the semifinals after defeating No. 6 Point Park University 1-0 (November 5).
RECORDS
- Tech is riding a four-game winning streak and is 5-0-2 in home contests this season including a 5-0 victory over Midway (September 29).
- The Eagles posted a 3-1 record in their last five match-ups, garnering 11 goals compared to their opponents' seven.

- WVU Tech is currently ranked No. 10 in the NAIA Men's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 poll with 370 points which is the highest ranking in program history.
