MOUNT VERNON, Georgia — WVU Tech baseball completed the four-game series sweep at Brewton-Parker College Saturday afternoon by defeating the Barons 10-1 before taking them down 16-4 in the night cap. The Golden Bears have extended their win streak to five and now hold a record of 6-2 while the Barons fall to 3-15.
On the mound, junior
Chris Davidson (1-1) scored the win in game one, while senior
Kyle Sager (2-0) pitched for the win in the final game of the series.

Diaz went 3-for-4 at the plate as the designated hitter, recording four RBI and scoring a run while hitting two doubles. Senior
Jeinson Espinosa notched Tech's first triple of the season and junior
Brady Groesbeck and Lam had a double a piece.
Davidson did 6.2 innings of work, scattering eight hits while striking out four Barons and giving up one earned run.
Game Two | WVU Tech 16, Brewton-Parker 4 (Box Score)Â Harvey had another multiple hit game for the Golden Bears, finishing 2-for-4 including a double and a triple that scored him four RBI and two runs. Doubles were also posted by junior

Sager struck out one batter while giving up just four hits and three earned runs in 4.2 innings.
The Gold and Blue will next travel to Ohio Christian University for a four-game series March 4-5.
