BARBOURVILLE, Kentucky — The WVU Tech softball team lost a pair of games to Union College Wednesday afternoon 14-3 and 13-5. The Golden Bears are now 6-8 while the Bulldogs hold a record of 18-13.

Baylee Harless had a multi-hit game, each going a perfect 2-for-2 at the plate. Harless notched a double and scored a run while Blythe picked up two RBI and a run scored.
Junior
Mackenzie Wilson drew the start pitching in game two, putting in 3.0 innings of work. Wilson struck out two opponents while giving up nine hits and five earned runs for the loss. Senior
Genna Trippett finished the game (1.2 innings) with four hits and three earned runs.
The team will look to snap its losing streak when it travels to Asbury for a doubleheader and Tech's first set of KIAC games on Friday, March 18. First pitch is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
