LAST SERIES
- Completed the conference series sweep of Cincinnati Christian University with 4-0 and 9-0 shutout victories Saturday afternoon at the Douglas M. Epling Field.
- Defeated CCU on Friday with scores of 11-2 and 23-3.
- The Golden Bears, who are enjoying an 11-game winning streak, now hold a record of 29-12, 18-6 (KIAC) while the Eagles are 3-35, 2-22 (KIAC).
- Tech is currently No. 2 in the KIAC while the Grenadiers of (RV) Indiana University Southeast are on top with a record of 19-1.
- Junior Tanner Levine had a standout series for WVU Tech, finishing 10-for-17 at the plate with eight RBI.
- The Long Beach, California native recorded three home runs in the four-game series including a grand slam in game two and two dingers, one over the left field wall and the other over the opposite wall, in the series finale.
- The left hander also posted a triple and a double towards his eight runs scored.
- Levine currently has a batting average of .432 and a slugging percentage of .664 while holding three top-30 rankings in the nation (NAIA DI).
- The son of Terri Kerr is No. 15 with 5 triples, No. 21 for his batting average (.432) and No. 29 for .122 triples per game.

SERIES vs. (RV) IU SOUTHEAST
- Dropped a doubleheader to (RV) Indiana University Southeast 8-7 and 6-5.
- Senior Megan Blythe had a stand out day for the Gold and Blue, finishing 5-for-7 at the plate with a double, a home run, four runs scored and two RBI.

- Tech found themselves behind 7-2 before a five-run sixth inning knotted the score 7-7.
- The teams held each other scoreless until the Grenadiers posted the winning run the bottom of the seventh for the victory.
- Sophomore MiKayla Craze joined Blythe for a multi-hit game, finishing with two hits and a RBI.
- Sophomore MaKayla Waugh ended with a double and two runs scored while freshman Skylar Connelly drove in two runs for Tech off a single to right field in the sixth inning.
- Freshman Hannah Burke (4-7) was dealt the loss after 1.2 innings of work in the circle.
- Burke gave up three hits and one earned run while striking out a batter.
- Senior Genna Trippett threw for 4.2 innings, scattering seven hits and five earned runs while striking out two Grenadiers.

- Both teams started the game strong, ending the first inning knotted 3-3 before Tech grabbed a 4-3 lead in the third when Blythe homered to deep left-center on a 0-1 count.
- The Grenadiers followed that up with a three-run fourth inning that secured them the eventual 6-5 victory.
- Connelly, Blythe and Trippett combined for seven of Tech's 11 hits including the home run from Blythe and a double from Trippett.
- Blythe accounted for three of Tech's runs scored while Trippett and Connelly crossed the plate once themselves.
- Junior Mackenzie Wilson (6-7) pitched a complete game for the loss.
- The Owings Mills, Maryland native struck out two Grenadiers while giving up five earned runs off of four hits.

LAST MEET
- Sophomore Kylie Lang notched a second place finish in the 3,000 meter steeplechase and freshman Daniel Lynch from the men's squad finished fourth in the shot put to pace the Golden Bear track and field teams at the West Virginia Wesleyan Jasmine Claggett Memorial Friday.
- Lang finished with a time of 13:52.72 behind junior Annie Winkler of Mount Vernon Nazarene who had a time of 12:35.95.
- Lynch's fourth place finish came on a 12.59 meter throw (shot put) while his 37.22 meter effort in discus garnered him a sixth place showing.
- The men also saw individual top-ten finishes from freshmen Zuberi Idy (sixth, triple jump, 11.51 meters), Jordan Tucker (eighth, 100 meters, 11.39 | tenth, long jump, 5.83 meters) and Jaleel Parris (ninth, long jump, 5.84 meters).
- The 4x100 relay team of Parris, Tucker and fellow classmates Kyle Goodson and Christopher Gaillard placed eighth with a time of 47.95.
- The women's 4x100 relay team took fifth place after a 54.02 time from freshmen Caitlin Foster, Brianne Cantley and Katie Ervin and sophomore Katrina Fairbairn.
- Freshman Leondra Bell had a sixth place finish in the shot put after a 9.98 meter throw and freshman Gjenine Galloway of Humble, Texas placed seventh in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:13.31 to round out the women's top contributors.
