LAST GAME
- Started off their season with a 3-2 victory over No. 19 Cumberland University.
- Junior Francisco Neto, who finished last season ranked No. 7 in the nation (NAIA DI) in goals per game with 1.110, netted two of Tech's goals in the win while freshman Eduardo Gutierez posted his first collegiate goal.
- Gutierez struck in the third minute off the perfect pass from Neto to put the Golden Bears up early. Neto's first goal was unassisted in the 32nd minute before the Rio de Janeiro, Brazil native followed that up in the second half (57') with a header goal and the assist from sophomore Álvaro Adán.
- Tech's defense was able to stop the Phoenix until the second half when Danny Williams marked two scores for Cumberland (60' and 66').
- Senior goalkeeper Hunter Moles (1-0) recorded the win after eight saves in 90 minutes of play.
- As a team, the Gold and Blue were outshot by Cumberland 19 (10) - 9 (6).

LAST GAME
- Went the distance in their first game of the 2016 season with a victory over NCAA DII foe Fairmont State University, 2-1 in double overtime.
- Junior Tristen Kilman scored her seventh career goal to start the Golden Bears off while fellow classmate Olivia Mantohbang found the back of the net off an assist from Kilman in the 102nd minute of the game.
- At 51:40, Kilman received the perfect pass from sophomore Caitlin Foster for the first score of the game.
- Kilman then dished out the assist to Mantohbang for the winning goal.
- Senior Alexandra Klein led the team with three shots on goal while freshman Hailey Couchman, Foster and Kilman had two each.
- In goal, junior Martha Reyna (1-0) had six saves with just one goal allowed in 102 minutes of play.
- As a team, Tech outshot their opponent 26-12 while also leading in shots on goal, 12-7.

- Tech fell to Ohio Christian 27-25, 23-25, 20-25 before defeating the Royal Crusaders 25-11, 25-7, 25-12.

- In a non-conference match-up Ohio Christian, recently ranked No. 8 in the RSC Coaches' Preseason Poll, defeated Tech in three sets where junior Bailey Lotozo led the Golden Bears and the game with 14 kills.
- Freshman Carolina Bologna posted nine kills while sophomore Kayla Hill had six.
- Freshman Konstantina Pateli had a match-high 38 assists to go with nine digs, three kills and a solo block.
- Sophomore Ana Monteiro posted 19 digs and three kills.
- Pateli is currently ranked No. 3 in the nation (NAIA DI) for 1.550 service aces per game and 20 total service aces.

- Sophomore Ana Monteiro produced a career-high 13 kills to lead the match against The Crown College.
- Lotozo brought her Tri-Match total to 24 kills with ten in the night cap while freshman Emily Kidd hit a match-high .875 (7-for-8).
- Pateli handled the ball again with 33 assists while senior Michala Dean led on defense with nine digs.
