PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania -- The WVU Tech volleyball team fell in five sets in a River States Conference (RSC) match-up at Carlow University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Tuesday evening. The Golden Bears move to 11-9, 0-2 (RSC) while the Celtics hold a record of 7-14, 1-3 (RSC) in 2016.
The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 25-13, 19-25, 25-18 and 13-15.
Junior
Bailey Lotozo finished with 13 kills and 2.5 blocks while senior
Keyonna Morrow recorded 12 kills. Freshman
Konstantina Pateli led the match with 40 assists while marking an ace.
Senior libero
Michala Dean had a standout night on defense with 17 digs while sophomore
Ana Monteiro came up with 15 digs.
The team will look to grab their first RSC victory this Saturday, October 1 when they host Brescia University and Indiana University Southeast in Beckley, West Virginia.
